Guideline

1. Important timeline

· The final deadline for submitting proposals is September 30, 2022(KST, UTC+09:00)

Other important deadlines (KST, UTC+09:00):

July 11 to September 30, 2022 – Proposals will be reviewed

October 7 to October 11, 2022 – All presenters will be informed

October 12 to October 21, 2022 – Final proposal should be submitted

(Abstracts will be edited before inclusion in conference papers)

*The final proposal is the final version of the previously written proposal and is the same as the proposal regulation.

Notice

It is possible that you pay the registration fee after submitting the proposal and checking the result.(you should pay the registration fee to present your proposal in the conference after checking the result.)

iaevg.com and https://www.iaevgconference2022.kr IDs do not share membership information for personal information protection, so you must sign up separately.

2. Three possibilities for participation

※ All proposals  must be submitted in English and will be reviewed by two members of the scientific committee.

※ The presentation of the proposal can be made in English or in Korean

※ The organizer will provide a Korean-English simultaneous interpretation service during the conference for keynote speeches and regular paper sessions only.

※  The poster session will be held in gather.town, we will guide the presenters to make a presentation at a fixed time in gather.town.

A. Paper session(onsite and online simultaneously):

The session, grouped by the scientific committee, consists of a series of oral presentations (15 minutes each) followed by a discussion with the audience. This involves mainly scientific communication, practice and theory discussion, or an experiment’s reflection. The proposals shall be of a high scientific level and should be related to one or more of the five sub-themes of the conference.

B. Workshop(onsite and online simultaneously):

Presentation of 60 minutes based on innovative practices or experimentation. The proposals shall have a clear link to scientific research and creative practice and should be associated with one or more of the five sub-themes of the conference.

C. Poster(online only):

The poster session will be in a virtual space on gather town only. The proposals shall be of a high scientific level, reflect innovative practice, and should be linked with one or more of the five sub-themes of the conference.

3. Format of Proposal

※ Word (*.doc, *.docx) Times New Roman, font 12 points, line spacing 1.0, paragraphs spacing (before: 0pt, After: 4pt), justified text, and no indents on the first line. A4 size.

※ The file’s name will be the Last name (surname) and the first name of the first contributor/author.

Example: SurnameName_P1.doc(x), if it is only a single paper.

In the case of a second paper, it will be: SurnameName _P2.doc(x)

※ The name of the file will be written without accents, other letters with diacritical marks, and spaces. Please replace accented/marked letters with the most similar Latin character; otherwise, sending the file could be an error.

1. Family name and first name of the first contributor/author

2. Title/position of the first contributor/author

3. E-mail of the first contributor/author

4. Institution to which the first contributor/author belongs

B. Specifications for Paper sessions

1. The proposal must be written in English.

a. Title of the paper (max 20 words)

b. Sub-themes of the conference it is linked to

c. Language for the presentation at the conference(English or Korean)

d. Abstract (maximum 300 words) – will be published electronically

e. Keywords: a maximum of five (5).

2. The proposal should include an introduction and objectives, theoretical basis, methodology, results, conclusions, and bibliographical references in ASA format(for details, refer to Manuscript Formatting // Purdue Writing Lab)

3. The proposal’s total length should not exceed seven (7) pages, including tables, graphs, and bibliographical references.

4. No footers or headers.

5. Tables and notes should be placed at the end of the text and before the bibliographic references

C. Poster(online only):

1. The proposal must be written in English.

a. Title of the paper (max 20 words)

b. Sub-themes of the conference it is linked to

c. Language for the presentation at the conference(English or Korean)

d. Abstract (maximum 300 words) – will be published electronically
